VIRGINIA AT WORK: Making brain smoothies

ROANOKE, Va. - On Monday's Virginia at Work segment, Lynda McNutt Foster made what she calls a brain smoothie.

She discussed with Kathlynn Stone in the Good Day Cafe the importance of having a breakfast full of nutrients.

The recipe is below:

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 scoops Whey Protein mix
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 scoops of veggie powder
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of 40 calorie Almond Milk
  • Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
