Roanoke, Va. - A local DJ with a big following is humbled after recognition by a leading music industry magazine.

94.9 Star Country DJ Robynn Jaymes is well-known, well-loved, and deeply connected in the community. That's why many people held their breath when the news broke in 2011, Jaymes fell severely ill - diagnosed with Pancreatitis. She went off the air for 10 months, as she focused on the fight of her life.
