This close to an election, campaign rallies are supposed to fire up the crowd.

But some in Wythe County left this Prayer for America Rally in disappointment, including Ellen McDaniel.

"I wanted to hear his view points. I wanted to hear why he had decided to endorse Trump when they were rivals in the primary. I wanted to get some more facts," said Ellen McDaniel, who came to see Ben Carson speak.

Those who spoke at the rally say Dr. Carson was supposed to be here in Virginia, but was actually in Arizona.

"You know in the final days of the campaign, there is a lot of crisscrossing and confusion and unfortunately Mr. Carson was double booked," said Corey Stewart, Former Chairman for the Trump Campaign in Virginia.

Instead, Donald Trump Jr., took time out of his day to make this video for those who came to show support.

"He really conveys what is going on in this country right now and that there's got to be a change," said Donald Lowe, Trump supporter.

But some say, it wasn't enough.

"It was still not the information I was looking for," said Ellen McDaniel, who came to see Ben Carson speak.

But as they say, the show must go on, and it did, with speakers and songs all with the message, to get out and vote.

Some Trump supporters say even though, Dr. Carson was not here, they still enjoyed the rally so close to election day.
