FBI investigating device found at national park

MIDDLETOWN, VA - The Federal Bureau of Investigation Richmond Division is asking for the public's help in their investigation into a device found at a national historic park.

According to the FBI, a device was found at the Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historic Park in Middletown on Saturday during an annual reenactment of the Battle of Cedar Creek.

Thankfully, no one was harmed and the device was rendered safe by Virginia State Police.

The FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms and Explosives, VSP, Frederick County Sheriff's Office and the Middletown Police Department are investigating this incident.
