Police find 37 pounds of marijuana in Christiansburg home

CHRISTIANSBURG, VA - Christiansburg Police said they seized around 37 pounds of marijuana with a value of more than $200,000.

Officers said they responded to the 2000 block of Simpson Road just before 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday after getting a call about a man passed out and not breathing.

When they arrived on scene, they found a man semi-responsive and revived him with Narcan.

They also found marijuana along with other paraphernalia.

That man has been identified as 60-year-old Michael Travis Devore. He is being charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana (more than five pounds). 

Devore received a $1,000 security bond, according to officers.

18-year-old Ciara Brooke Hungate was already arrested and is being charged with possession of a Schedule I or II substance.

She is being held without bond,
