Rally scheduled after fliers with swasticas were found at Jewish Student Center

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Hundreds of people gathered for a rally of support for the Jewish Community Monday evening, after hate filled fliers were found outside the Jewish Student Center near Virginia Tech.

Organizers told WFXR News that they are reassured to see the overwhelming support after the incident..

"I feel I have a very strong obligation to make sure that every member of our community is free to study and work here," said Virginia Tech President Timothy Sands.

Rabbi Zvi Zwiebel said someone left around 100 leaflets with swastikas in the yard of the Jewish Student Center over the weekend.

Authorities have not yet been able to track down the person responsible.
