Spay-ghetti Event

Animal lovers enjoyed spaghetti for a good cause.  The Roanoke Valley SPCA held their 12th annual Spay-Ghetti lunch and dinner at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

For every six meals sold an animal leaves the shelter spayed and neutered.

Sylvie Peterson is the Director of community engagement for the SPCA and she says, "We make sure that every single pet that is adapted from the Roanoke Valley SPCA is spayed and neutered before they are adapted.  They also are microchipped and have age appropriate vaccinations and certain testing, but most important is spay and neuter."
