Bill Wadell

Bill Wadell joined the WFXR News team in August 2015 as a weekend anchor and multimedia journalist.

Before moving to the Roanoke Valley, Bill was a multimedia journalist at WSYX/WTTE in Columbus, Ohio.

During his tenure in Happy Valley, Bill traveled to Tampa when the Penn State Nittany Lions played in the Outback Bowl.

Bill also reported on the scandal and fallout that led to the arrest of former football coach Jerry Sandusky, as well as the end of Joe Paterno’s career.
