Victoria Shirley is an award-winning journalist with nearly a decade of experience in the news business.
She wears many hats in the WFXR newsroom as the lead investigative reporter, digital content manager, special projects manager, assignments manager, and executive producer.
Prior to moving to Roanoke, she served as the chief investigative journalist at KSLA News 12 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She helped the station launch the first investigative bureau they’ve had in more than a decade. Victoria also was the producer/anchor for the Sunday morning 30-minute newscast.
She kicked-off her journalism career in Monroe, Louisiana at KNOE 8 News as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor.

Victoria was born and raised in Virginia and is happy to be back in her home state. When she's not working, she loves hiking and exploring the area with her husband Clay and her two dogs named Beaux and Ruby.
