CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WFXR) - The Christiansburg community came together at a candlelight vigil to remember Ashlyn Poole Thursday night.
Ashlyn died in a car crash on Sunday.
People wore royal blue and teal ribbons in remembrance of Ashlyn. Friends and family could not say enough about 16-year-old Ashlyn Poole.
Her friends and family spoke about the impact she had on their lives. Thursday night, the Christiansburg High School parking lot was filled with people.
Some of her friends shared memories about Ashlyn. Many of her friends called her a ray of sunshine.
Ashlyn would have graduated with the class of 2020. Many of her friends from that class say they are always going to remember her and want to live in a positive way.
