FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR News) - According to deputies, around 3:00 Monday morning officials responded to a report of a gunshot wound at the intersection of Bonbrook Mill Road and Wirtz Road.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office identified the caller as 45-year-old Kimberly Ann Morgan-Lefever.
When deputies arrived on scene they figured out that an argument had happened between Ms. Morgan-Lefever and a 47-year-old male, according to officials.
Morgan-Lefever reportedly fired her gun and left the man with a non-life threatening head wound.
Officials have charged Morgan-Lefever with malicious wounding.
Morgan-Lefever is currently being held in the Western Virginia Regional Jail without bond.
This case is still under investigation and charges are pending.
