Good Housekeeping picks Blue Ridge pumpkin patch as best in Virginia

BLUE RIDGE, VA - A local pumpkin patch has been recognized in Good Housekeeping as the best in Virginia.

Layman Family Farms in Blue Ridge was picked as the place to go for all your fall festivities.

The farm is open seasonally and will be open this year through November 10.

Tickets are $12 for ages 3-64 and seniors 65 and older only pay $10. Kids 2 and under are free.

Layman Family Farms is celebrating 15 years of business and is located off Mountain View Church Road.

They offer a 10 acre corn maze, 15 acre courtyard, 5 acres of parking, 40 acre pumpkin patch, giant jumping pillow, hay rides, cow train, corn cannon, pumpkin blaster, animal alley and a children play area.

The 87 acre farm is owned and operated by Eric and Sharon Layman and their family.
