LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR News) - - Lynchburg Police are investigating after a man showed up to a hospital with a gunshot wound.
According to police, officers went to 14th street and Monroe Street around 11:13 p.m. Monday night after hearing that a man was lying on the ground with a possible gunshot wound. When they got there, they couldn't find the man.
However, a man went to the Lynchburg General Hospital ER with a single gunshot wound shortly after. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Police are now looking for information about what led to the shooting.
