Radford City police arrest two accused of delivering drugs to inmates

RADFORD CITY, Va. (WFXR News) - According to officials, Radford City police have arrested two suspects who they believe had been delivering drugs to inmates in New River Valley Regional Jail. The inmates were assigned as trusties to the Radford City Animal Control facility. 

Police arrested 36-year-old Jackie Lynn Collins and 42-year-old Yolanda Jo Endicott after a traffic stop initiated in the 100 block of East Main Street in Radford. 

Police have confirmed that both suspects have been charged with the following:

2 counts of 18.2-474.1 – conspire to deliver drugs to an inmate

1 count of 18.2-250 - possession of heroin

1 count of 18.2-250 – possession of methamphetamine

1 count of 18.2-255.2 – distribution of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school

1 count of 18.2-255.2 – distribution of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school

This investigation is still ongoing.
