UPDATE: Missing 11-year-old Roanoke girl found safe

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR News) - UPDATE: Missing Roanoke 11-year-old has been found safe, according to police, and will be returned home soon.

Roanoke Police want the community's help with locating a missing 11-year-old girl. However, police don't believe she is in any danger. 

According to police, Destiny Cheyenne Kellar was last seen Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. in the 400 block of Woods Avenue SW in Roanoke.

Police provided the following description: 

She's around 4'11, usually wears glasses and has small scars on her arms and legs. She was last seen wearing either a gray graphic shirt with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the front or a pink/burgundy shirt. Her hair was braided and in a bun. 

Police said she is possibly in Northwest Roanoke or heading that way.
