Roanoke Police arrest man accused of stabbing another man to death

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR News) - Roanoke Police have arrested 34-year-old Christopher King of Roanoke.

According to police, he is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Travon Lee.

King and Lee knew each other before the stabbing, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to the 600 block of 11th St NW on October 12th around 10:00 p.m. after receiving a report of a large disorder. Once on scene, officers located 24-year-old Travon Lee of Supply, Virginia. Lee had been stabbed in the chest. He was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
