The Patrick County Sheriff's Office confirmed that two bodies have been found following reports of a shooting and fire.
Authorities received a call about a possible shooting at a home on Dan Valley Farm Road near Claudville around 8 a.m. this morning.
As they were responding, PCSO said deputies learned the house was engulfed in flames.
Deputies said the home was destroyed and two bodies were found inside.
PCSO said Ronnie Glenn Terry and his wife Carol Ann lived in the home that caught fire, but the bodies that were recovered have not yet been identified.
A statement from PCSO said evidence suggests there was a domestic dispute inside the home prior to deputies being called to the area.
Anyone with information is asked to call 276-692-6512.
